Our company was founded in 2009 by Andrew Tanges. When you hire us for a project, you are getting a team of professionals who specialize in their trades. Rather than one or two people handling every aspect of your kitchen remodel, for example, you get a tile specialist, a flooring specialist, a woodworking specialist, and more. Andy Tanges
Andy doesn’t “just work here”, he created this team. As the founder of Strategic Remodel, Andy enjoys working with people, building their dreams, and revealing drastic before and after transformations to a customer. When he’s not remodeling homes, he is mentoring other contractors and remodelers that are self-employed. Outside of work, you can find him with his family hunting, fishing, playing soccer or helping people through street ministry.
Stephanie Smith
Stephanie is the one you can count on at the office and she’s the one counting the cash. Her favorite part about the job is meeting new people, making customers happy, and building connections. She is a master multi-tasker, problem solver, and goal setter. In her spare time, she spends time with her husband and dogs (Raider and Babe) and cat (Delilah). Oh, and can’t forget about those adorable nieces and nephews she hangs out with every chance she gets.
Brandon Schroeder
You should see Brandon install tile. He’s a master tile martial artist. He enjoys the gratifying feeling of making customers happy and seeing the way a project can transform throughout a job. Outside of tile work, you can find Brandon working in his garden, camping, and spending time with his family.
Kris Mathers
Kris thrives on chaos control and making sure projects are done seamlessly. When he’s not woodworking, he’s watching Viking football, camping, golfing, and eventually aspires to start forging knives as a hobby.
TressAnn Tanges
As Vice President, TressAnn co-founded Strategic Remodel and in the early years was the Administrative back bone to the company. As her and Andy grew the company, she has been awarded the luxury to do what matters most to her and that is spending more time with their young children. Outside of work, she loves to be active, whether that is inside or outside, and enjoys spending time with her family.
Sarah Suter
With over 20 years of experience in the remodeling industry, Sarah specializes in kitchen and bath design, but really loves all interior remodeling projects. Making every client’s dream become a reality is one of Sarah’s passions. In her free time, she enjoys remodeling her own 1920’s home, scrap booking, gardening, golfing, and enjoying time with her 2 active boys, husband, 2 dogs and cat. Sarah also finds time to volunteer for community work and fundraise for great organizations in the Wichita area.
Candy Viera
Introducing Candy, she takes immense pleasure in collaborating with people to help bring their dreams to life. Candy enjoys solving problems and is a goal-oriented individual. The most rewarding part of the job is visiting a jobsite and seeing the transformation. As a member of the Strategic Remodel team, Candy takes pride in being a part of a company that values excellence and customer satisfaction above all else. When she’s not working on renovating homes, Candy loves nothing more than spending time with her loved ones and her two furry companions, Steve and Charlie.

We specialize in residential kitchen, bathroom, and basement renovations as well as cabinet, flooring, tile, drywall installation, and more. We can handle everything from a shower renovation to a complete bathroom remodel, expansion, or even a home addition.
We also do exterior spaces, like patios & decks, and many customers turn to us for accessibility remodels to help with aging in place and make it easier for those with mobility issues or disabilities to live at home safely.
